2016 was dark 'n' dirty. These were the products that made my year a little less shitty and little more pretty.
Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Blood Orange
I hate blood oranges, but I love this one. This gorgeous warm red classes me up somethin' nice.
Tatcha Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder
Gentle exfoliation that perfectly mattifies & smoothes.
Glossier Boy Brow
I never paid my eyebrows any mind until the day my mom insinuated I was losing eyebrow hair. Now I use Boy Brow and my confidence has been restored.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose
I adored Nirvana Black and White, but grew tired of depending on them this year. Then Elizabeth and James released Rose, and I was like, okay, I'll depend on you again.
Herbivore Coco Rose body polish
While I make my own sugar scrubs, I could never get the consistency as luxurious as Herbivore does. Goal for 2017 is to replicate this myself.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rose Gold
Alright, clearly there's a pattern here. I really love "rose". Well, not the flower itself. Kind of basic. But the scent and general palette associated with the word, yes. This stick is almost too easy to use. You can haphazardly swipe it across your lid without any sort of real precision or skill, and it instantly looks polished. Thank you for allowing me to look neat, Laura Mercier.
